Just made it before the start of the New Year - my last purchase for 2011! (And probably the last for a while!!)
Had a rather bad accident with it on the way from the transport to the garage though... cab fell off the truck and onto its side! Made a bit of damage to the side, beside the right edge of the CP. I also noticed the right side is separated from the rest of the cab a little - not sure if it was like this before the accident (I suspect it was). I was real lucky it didnt sustain more damage, it had no power when I turned it on but at least the monitor was intact. I found some loose connections on the switcher and now its back to normal.
You will see in the pics that there are a few problems. The main one is the monitor which is collapsing on the right hand side. Must have been this way for some time as theres burn in at that point.
Also there are corruptions to all of the sprites... should be visible in the snaps. You can see it on the small tanks and the main tank on the title screen. Its super obvious on the large explosions and end of level bosses. Any idea what will be the cause? Presumably its a video ram fault...
Needs new sideart too, I think some reproductions are in progress over on KLOV.

Theres a little gouge lower down too, easy to fix and the broken part still feels fairly solid. I need to keep an eye on it to see if it gets worse.
Separated side panel. Doesnt seem to go back into place with a simple "thump". Need to investigate further.
