Somewhere in the dark, cavernous void of deep space an unidentified object approaches. A dull, phosphorous glow around it becomes ever more bright until you can finally discern its shape. IT'S A POINTY ROCK! SHOOT IT! SHOOT IT NOW!

Kicking myself I did not submit my score in time, thought deadline was this weekend, doh, not that I was high ranking or anything, haha.

Choice podcast guys. And great game for the next challenge. Karate Champ was a firm favourite of mine for a bit, bitd. It really captured that Karate Kid vibe (anyone seen the comedy followup on YouTube btw?). I very rarely played it 1 player, and usually got thumped, but was pleasantly surprised by the replay value. My score was 44,500

Always a pleasure to listen to. The abuse of lunar lander was rather unfortunate. It’s 1979, and the very first vector game, unfair I would say. On the other hand I was expecting a blasteroids bashing as well, but the admission of the spinners being the very best way to control the ship, does indeed confirm blasteroids as the pinnacle of the asteroids saga.
