Asteroids Taito 1979 cocktail

Hi All,

I found some old pictures on my laptop which you may find of interest:

• I bought this from "Arcadewarehouse" !!! around 2004 and they got it from an arcade in Scarborough on the east coast. I had it for a few years (I replaced the glass which was badly scratched) and repainted the base in black, other than that it was in good condition overall. This is before I knew UKVAC and Jamma + existed of course.
• I had to sell it in 2007 (which I now regret) and I sold it to a retro pub owner in Manchester for £300 ! He had it for a while then I believe it was damanged by a punter and I'm not sure what happened to it then (I had tried to buy it back but it didn't work out).
• I'm sure I saw it on ebay for sale a few years ago as a non worker by someone in Grange-over-Sands Cumbria!
• This was 100% original and I believe it is quite rare (I've certainly not seen another for sale since).
• Enjoy.

Yes it was not that easy with that button configuration but I got used to it. I subsequently bought an Asteroids cabaret from Nad (Equities) to replace this in August 2014 which is easier to play...

I'm not bad at Asteroids, but I think it would be a struggle with them controls.

I have a Taito Asteroids table. It came from the Peter Davis collection in Aberdeen. It didn't come with the pcb.
