I actually do remember that stick I'm gonna go and try and find it.

regard the joystick ports I thought it was a clever idea, especially for when port 1 pretty much always had a mouse plugged into it, but yeah I can see issues with regular joystick swapping!

however I had a right old problem with the ST as usual being inferior to the Amiga and not being able to do 2 mice for dual player lemmings! I had to use a commodore 1351 in joystick emulation mode which meant I was always at a disadvantage vs the ST owner 🤣

That must have been released specifically for a game, though, surely??
