Hey guys...

I've recently started having problems with my old Atari Star Wars upright.
I was hoping that some kind soul could point me in the right direction as to
where to start looking for the problem.

The game appears to be playing properly, but the video display is
'collapsing' on itself; bouncing around and generally getting all messed
up. I've uploaded a video to YouTube showing some gameplay footage...

I can't remember if it's a WG or Amplifone monitor - I'll check when I get
home tonight. I don't believe it has any cap kits installed, but again -
I'll check tonight.

Thanks in advance.

Dave

It looks to me like there's a problem with the mathbox, you might
want to try reseating the mathbox proms. Do you get any errors in
the self test?

Definitely not the monitor. I noticed the score, shield, etc is all fine
it's just the 3D cr*p that's not working so mathbox tests would be the place
to start. Then you can shotgun replace all the relevant ICs.....
