Got this finally delivered just before Christmas

This was
purchased with an intermittent monitor fault, but I've yet to see what the fault is

This things is in
ultra good condition with original artwork and apparently this might have
belonged to Archer Maclean! I've not seen such a clean SW machine for the price that would make some cry
smiley36.gif
I would say it was an ultra bargain that I'm very happy with and I have managed to twist the Wife's arm into having it in the spare room

Wow, lovely condition cab. I've never seen a Star Wars that didn't have *some* hum so making it 90% better is great!

i like to see that,a kid playing a game and actualy PLAYING it and not just wangling stuff and turning round all the time.

may the force be with you, well at least as long as you have it or it works.

Yeah, somebody else said that when he popped round for a game! The
problem seemed to be that the TDA2002 amps were mounted to the heat sink with
plastic screws, so when I installed new amps I swapped them for Metal screws
and reduced the hum by 90%, and last night I managed to reduce it again by
approx another 5% So now there is only a tiny Hum. Think I can live with that

Hi Saleem, he
has played it a couple of times but now back on his Black Ops 2
smiley36.gif
He's not even played with any of his Christmas presents
smiley5.gif

Hopefully it
should be fault free for a while, as I have rebuilt the AR2 and installed a
cooling fan over the 2N3055 as they get real hot! I will also be installing 3
fans under the board cage and 2 over the monitor chassis soon! Maybe overkill though

Nice SW !

7 year old and he's allowed to play Black Ops........mmm......where is this world heading to ? I'm getting too old I guess. My 10 year old son walks away at friends when they play these kind of games....I'm probably just old-fashioned but I believe that children need a certain age to seriously see the difference between real and fake....but that's all just MHO (and my wife's) of course...
