If you have an Atari System 1 and multiple carts it will reset the NV memory every time you change cartridge. Strangely though, Atari did actually design the board to allow the NV socket to accept a 2816 even though they only used a 2804. This patch along with a 2816 will allow your main board to keep all the scores/settings for all 5 available cartridges at the same time.

You will need to patch either the 205/206 or 114/115 bios eproms on your system 1 main board and replace the 2804 at F15 or E13

As with all my High Score Patches, please post a reply or click thanks if you find this patch works for you.

I actually came up with this patch at the end of last summer, I did post a thread on this forum but no one seemed interested at the time. Anyway as I am now posting lots of High Score patches I thought I should post this too. I haven't posted it anywhere else, so feel free

Did it on another Main Board, without removing out of the cab.

This time it was the TTL Version.

Works perfect, thanks for the cool stuff!

When i read this topic, i remember that the st-v system resets the scores when you change the cart, or when the cart is not detected when you poweron the cabinet (when cart moved a little when cabinet powered off)......
