Hi all,

I'm having some problems with my Atomiswave monitor specifically when its switching into higher resolutions for mame etc. Basically the screen shifts over to the left and stays that way until it warms up and I reset the machine.

Chassis work required?

I don't have the answer for your problem. But the monitors are not designed to switch resolutions every few mins
Quickest way to kill them is to let mame switch resolutions between the menu and games etc.
I set mine to 15k mode only

Hi, thanks for the feedback.

I guess for clarity I'm running a Raspberry Pi2 in the machine and I have it set to boot at 640x480@60 and then everything else uses that resolution. No additional resolution changes are required after initial boot.

Ah that's ok then
Originally I was using groovy mame and letting it pick all the correct resolutions for each game
Click click click looked great but then I heard it's really bad for the chassis

If your chassis is a dual focus Wei ya I do have a brand new boxed spare chassis that I never used for mine before I got rid of it, the tube on mine had failed :(

I'm sure if it can be repaired though (Gunblade) would be your best bet :)

Are you sure its a monitor fault?

Have you plugged the Pi into an external monitor or tried a PC running at 640x480 connected to the cab to confirm its the monitor.
