Avatar problem

Hi fellas

I'm sure I've seen a thread on this, but can't seem to find it.

Uploaded an image, but when I select it and click 'OK' nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Change the format of the image, make sure it's the right pixel size and under the file size limit?

From having looked at PAC-MAN's avatar issue (the same presumably), its strange as its not happening to everyone, and thus its hard to find a solution if I cant recreate the issue!

A work around though is if you look at the folder list whilst you upload you will see its going to uploads/<number>/ Make a mental note of this number.

Then in the settings page in the avatar field (directly above the Avaar upload link and will probably say http://) simply type uploads/<number>/filename i.e. uploads/100/avatar.jpg your avatar will be used and saved

Give that a try

Thanks, I used the work around, but even simpler, right-clicked the image in the preview window and grabbed the URL from there.

I ended up just uploading the avatar to Photobucket, then pasted the direct link
