Afternoon team,

Not been here for a while! Last had a midway KI2 cabinet project, long since gone. Sold due to losing space.

Just picked up a BAS cabinet, and have two questions I'm after some advice on.
It has monitor, and I want to go lcd this time for ease. Does anyone have any lcd 4:3 recommendations?

Secondly, the control panel has a 3 button config and I want 6, but don't want to butcher this panel. Is there anywhere to get control panels for the BAS?

Thanks

You could remove the panel and take it to a local fabricator to make up another one. Ask them to drill the holes or whatever else you need doing.

Welcome back , Are you MAME'ING it ?? As said better with original CRT if working or fixable !!! What size screen are you after ?? You struggle to get a 4:3 LCD , I did get one for mine but was 22" ish

Sell me the bass and buy one without a CRT :) .

Dave.

I'm not 100% sure yet, but yarp , emulation for sure for this one. Just trying to figure out if to use a batocera image and boot straight into that, although really want light guns.. so need to get my head around that too.

Here is my current project , close to yours but obs this is racing and still on going :-

I used the Eizo one as suggested, may have bits in the thread you could find usefull.

Where abouts are you ?? Lots of people can help you in here including me. Just something to note regarding guns , i tried this on a 19" mame cab and i coukd get it to work properly. I run out of time but i think it was the sensor bar. There is a set of guns that dont need a sensor bar so you may have better luck with them.

What the status of the screen your removing ?

Dave.

Unico in the USA are making 4:3 monitors now that are a direct swap for a CRT. They had some issues at first but they have been ironed out now. Their best seller is a 25inch which is out of stock but you can still get their 19inch model. Would be pricey though.

Wow, that's awesome! I'm.in Worcester, so quite central.

I don't have a monitor in it at the minute, but looking to put a 19" ips panel in there i think.
