Forgotten Worlds

Bought this from Jon Exidy and imported it from the US. Work included rebuilding the front bottom corners as they'd been broken off, new t-molding, brand new screen, rebuilt controls, built in stepdown (massive thing) and repairing the PCB. The side art has been vectored by a friend, just need to get it printed to finish this one. Bezel does have fold marks half way up, but it's not colour faded like most of them.

I'm on the lookout for a better panel too - this one looks fine but the lower curve along the metal has quite a bit of cracking on the yellow of 'WORLDS'. T molding isn't nice and flat like it should be - they simply don't make chrome (which apparently was standard) anymore with a thick enough channel, so it was quite loose fitting and had to be hot glue assisted with small blobs here and there.

Missile Storm

Well manyof you will have seen the separate thread on that by now, it's
my most recent restoration and is one of the cabs that came from the
Duke of Lancaster ship raid. It was exactly as rusty it sounds, huge
amount of work went into this one, and now it looks like this:

The Sopranos

An underrated game from Stern, in fact I remember people calling it suckpranos when it came out. I'd been to play one at an Earl's Court expo, and I liked it the first time I played it. Some years later, I bought one which on the face of it looked good, but as I worked on it I found more and more problems. 500 quid in parts and many weeks of work later (spread over 3 months):

Tron LE

A friend of mine in the Czech Republic bought this from new, didn't get on with it and sold it to me. Has a Tron scoop arcade machine upgrade, shaker motor kit, Pinball Pro speaker kit, Flipper Fidelity LED backlight kit, Cliffy hole protector and the horrible PinLED type display we get on EU models has been replaced with a full retrofit of the US plasma DMD parts (even the warning sticker).

It's become a very popular game, ranking in the top 10 on Pinside ratings until people with more established top 10 machines started giving it troll ratings...

Some beautiful games here. The Europlay cabs are very bling :) The Mystery Castle looks like a nice game to play, big open playfield with not too many toys and clutter. Sopranos is a good game to play IMO. The troll comment made me chuckle. Pin snobbery is absolutely rife these days I'm afraid. People condemn Sega and Stern games without ever playing them. I think Sopranos plays better than Adams Family so there fanbois! :)

Lovely collection, particularly impressed with the Turbo, a game that doesn't seem to get the love it deserves, and the Moon Patrol looks beautiful...

Black Rose (A)

Already sold and picked up in fact! I thought I'd add this for completeness at least, the machine I'm keeping (not sure I kept the right one, we shall see..) is in many many pieces right now. Side artwork was penned in by a previous owner who didn't deem that worth mentioning. He also didn't mention the broken wiring on some flashers, the warped cannon base, the burned out GI wiring and other assorted 'niggles'. I put a broken display into this one, gave it a full strip and clean swapped all the best bits into the machine I'm keeping, rebuilt it and moved it on.

I dream of one day actually receiving a pin in this condition of 'clean and working', I've been sold plenty over the years with that description, and only two that matched it.

Well there's these four:
New Net City
Akuma
Time Crisis 3
G-Loc

I'll post pages when I have good photos of them, will probably take a while. The G-Loc is destined to be converted to Galaxy Force, but it's stalled on a controls encoder I need P-Man to make for it.

Time Crisis 3

I do actually have the topper, but I don't have
sufficient roof clearance to fit it... Got this on ebay, amazingly from
an operator and *everything worked*, *nothing was broken*. Adjusting
the screens to match was a bit of a trial, and since the plastic on the
guns was pretty badly worn theyve got all new plastic parts on both
sides. I was actually looking for a TC2 at the time, but this is a better game and it was a steal at £1k!
