I hear you brothers... If you want to spend an hour furiously waggling your joystick, there are more fun ways of doing that than point pressing in Bomb Jack!

But I will try and work the P... Changing the colour makes a big difference and can normally be achieved with just a couple of extra jumps...

And Neil... It's still Game On for the million. I can make 7 figures on the easy setting (arcade clubs Leeds and Bury are both currently set to easy), but I still haven't reached a million using Twin Galaxy settings.... It's all still to play for... iamjimmi2019-09-27 10:58:47

The Powerball ball cycles through its value each time you make a "jump" action from a platform, ground or wall. It starts from blue (200) and rises to 400, 800. Gold is 1200, silver 2k.

The "E" is related to the amount of "B"s that are triggered, as I generally will pop the "E" at the beginning of wave 3, on the first 5k multiple. So that makes 8 "B" followed by the "E". Not 100% sure on that but it's pretty close.

As to the bird, it naturally spawns to the left, unless you happen to have the joystick held to the left at the screen start. In that case it will spawn to the right.

I'm guessing this video is Kernyzp due to the gameplay.

I always thought that "E" was triggered by how many bombs you got sequential, but after spending a few hours playing it is not.

The "E" is triggered by collecting enemies you turn to coins every 10 that you collect when your multiplyer is on silver/grey so its 10 that are worth 2000 points it will pop. So grab the "P" when your multiplyer at top of screen is grey/silver.

I kept playing last night first 5 levels over and over, got the "P" on silver each time and counted how many coins i collected that where worth 2K its defo 10.

So even if your multiplyer is only on 3 but you get the coins the last one you pick up is worth 1200 x3 gives you 3600 which counts towards 10 that are worth 2K or more. I got 2 extra lives in first 5 levels.

Try that again but don't collect any Bs... Does it still work?

Ill have some more goes later, but its defo not "B" that trigger it.

Its 10 gold coins that are worth 2k or more. I had only x4 bonus but as long as the last 2 coins where worth 800 or 1200 and i collected 10 then it triggered the extra life. Obviously getting the "P" on silver gives higher bonus. I noticed that it would trigger it on next level if you had completed level before it dropped, first bomb you collected it would drop.

When I first sited this in my local pub it was the original PCB and I'd put it in a cabinet that had a sort of square box shaped top unit with darken perspex to house the monitor(no idea what used to be in it,cost£20) think the joystick panel pulled forward on runners after you unlocked two barrel locks. My question really is do the bootleg version play as the original PCB as I have a couple of them that I need to sort out a couple of minor issues. I fancy having a go again after least 25 years and pretty sure that I got passed 150 rounds but never quite made the 200.

Bootleg is a 1:1 clone of the original, apart from a couple of very small differences When I compared the roms they were the same except for my bootleg saying 1985 insted of 1984. No way you could tell just by playing.Kev A2019-09-27 20:22:54

I'd eventually love to achieve 1 million. But I will settle for half of that which I obtained recently. :)

513,880

I'm playing on a genuine boardset that I grabbed a while back (untested for $40 US shipped). Popped it in with my JAMMA adapter and it worked perfectly. (Lucky!).
