Buggy Boy three screen!

The left monitor unfortunately had leaking HV. You could hear the squeal of it, and the monitor picture would jump and squash.

On top of this all monitors were seriously out of colour alignment between each other.

In came @backflipper to the rescue and fed with a curry and some beers, he first cleaned all monitors.

...

Once that was done the left monitor was still leaking HV. He noticed it had a new flyback, and he decided to inspect the neck board. Here he noticed a bridge in the spark gap plastic that was causing the HV leak jump. He cleaned this up with a file and we had a working left monitor.

All that was left was the colour alignment across the monitors.

Looks and plays well, very good.

Was wondering if 3 screens would really enhance the experience, considering what they are just displaying, but I guess it does looking at the video.

A long, long time ago my brother wrote the MAME driver for Buggy Boy. It was a monstrously complicated system (and game driver).
