Hi guys looking to get a candy cab, but not all will fit up my stairs. Was looking at naomi universal as it can be dismantled. Any other options? Others that dismantle maybe?
thanks

So, they can ALL be dismantled, in as much as, every part on any cab can be removed/replaced, etc, but I'm not sure that is what you mean.

Some candies have 'easily removable control panels for example, where as on the Astro City or New Astro City, the CP is an integral part of the cab.

But then if you really like/want a NAC for example it all comes ro pieces, monitor out, cab un bolts into two halves, front and rear, so easily then taken up the stairs and through door etc.

So, more hassle, but I'm not sure I would like to lug a candy with that huge monitor upstairs in one piece anyway.

My advice is choose the cab you want to own, both aesthetically and what it can do, tri-sync, etc. Make sure either will fit where you want it to go as some, including the Naomi have a larger footprint.

Then do your research on how to dismantle it etc.

Do you have a garage that it could be delivered into so that you're not under pressure and against the weather when it arrives?

I have taken a few cabs up and down the stairs ..
Depends on the stair ..
But straight flight nice big landing ..
Take off the banister they will all go up
2 good strong boys .

With the control panel off that is ..

make life easier for your self take monitor out first

Dinoking isn’t really a candy, pretty sure all Candy’s come apart for stairs.

I have also had in an upstairs flat with no lift, Sega Aero, Aero table and a Neo Candy 29. All come apart quite easily, the main thing is to get the monitor out first, those things weigh a ton!

Naomi is shorter in width than depth, about 72cm (about 83cm depth with control panel removed) maybe take off control panel and carry it up front facing down. But pretty easy to take apart.

Blast City about 72cm depth with no cpanel. Take it up on its side.

What's a normal stairs width, 80 to 90cm?

Sega cabs such as Naomi, Astro ect have their monitors on frames which makes it much less hassle when removing them for transport.

I've loads of different cabs in my bedroom over the years never had any problems & did it all on my own.
