I have two HAPP 'Ultimate' joysticks (I think) in my dedicated Mortal
Kombat 2 cab. I currently have a Street Fighter 2 Turbo PCB plugged in
but I am having trouble producing fireballs etc because the joysticks
seem to have a problem with the smooth down, down-forward, forward
motion. I suspect in particular it is having a hard time with the
down-forward detection because as the following photographs show, the
switch contacts are square:
My Mortal Kombat 2 cab control panel:
Underside view of the control panel, here is one of the joysticks:
A different view of the joystick:
A close-up of the up/down/left/right switch contacts:
Anyone got any ideas as to how I can produce this smooth down, down-forward, forward motion and therefore do these fireballs in SF2? Do I need a new switch contact? Do I need new joysticks?
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
