Blows own trumpet for CHQ cabs
Realised I'd not posted this on here. anyway. ages back I bought Cadillacs & Dinosaurs untested cheap in a local trading group.. figured it was worth the risk. It was totally dead as expected. Both batteries had died.
This week I soldered in some new batteries, constructed my programmer with help from emuDrach and the arcadehacker blog, re-flashed both sections of the PCB.
Initially I was getting messed up colours and no audio, but after cleaning up the filthy edge connectors it's all FULLY WORKING!!!!
Although this pic shows arcadehacker's code, I flashed it a few times, thinking my messed up colours was a programming issue at first. In the end I used an edited version by emuDrach which combines everything for both the kabuki and C board.
Now I just need to find time to play it!
