I've been contacted by Channel 4 about doing a show on large collections
of arcade machines, particular about struggling with space etc, so if you
are interested in being involved let me know and I will give you more
info and pass your details on

Which show was that Ian?

Good question dude, he was hoping to put together a few episodes about arcade collecting and featuring a new barcade that is supposed to be opening in London sometime next year.

Let me find some info about it again

Not to put a downer on this, but from experience just make sure you know what you're getting into, and how you might be portrayed in the programme. "Interested in featuring collectors struggling for space" sort of sets alarm bells ringing in my head. Could easily turn into "look at this nutty hoarder nerd guy" etc.

This is a very good point.

I've not heard anything yet, so I don't know if this is proceeding or not.

However they have stated that they want to showcase collections in the best possible light.
They do seem to be interested in finding out about collections - how they started and why it is so great.

However if the title of the show turns out to be geek hoarders or something similar then I don't think it is a good idea for people to get involved unless they want too.

As soon as I have any more info, I will let the people interested know, and pass on their numbers. If they decide after a phonecall with the production company that they don't want to be involved then that's up to them.

This is not really anything to do with me. I'm just passing on names :)

How sad is it that if there was a tv programme called geek hoarders with loads of arcade machines i'd be all over it
