Charity Competition - Wonderboy Xmas Special

Hi All,

So Wonderboy was picked as the next game for this.

For the Xmas special, as well as the £50 donated to a charity of the winner choice, I will donate £1 to a charity of my choice for every participant who submits a score. (Capped at £50 just in case)

Settings as follows:

Lives - 5
Bonus lives - 30k, 100k, 170k, 240k
Continues - No
Difficulty - Easy

Reminder you should enter your name as UKV on the high score board

Will run this through to the end of January.

You’ll have to check the dips online mate.

May be a little while until I get a go. I’ll let you know once I’ve worked it out if you haven’t before. But a quick google search should sort it

5 Lives !!! Jeebers !!! These are normally my settings - Only 3 life, You can collect the rest ! lol

Am I ok to stay with 3 live ?? I have never started with 5 , I personally think its way way to many

Go easy on me its been a real long time since I played this !!! I will do the UKV on the rest when I can get back in.

Its cold in my Garage were cab is !!

Purpose of 5 lives is to stop any contention about whether someone was using more lives than allowed. 5 lives is the most the game allows so no one can cheat.

Fair point , never tried with 5 !! Should get me further although my hand goes after a few goes sadly.

It doesn't matter how many lives you have stacked up. Could be 50+ and you'll still drain them all on a single moving platform somewhere in the middle of the game while swearing loudly

Here's my effort today lost nearly all my lives on one effing platform and I swear I knew what was coming ha ha

Thats the thing with this game , loose momentum and you can loose all lives on the easier part. I did that on a practice last night, through a shit fit and turned it off !! I was disgusted with my self.

Room for improvement!

I have WBIML but had never played the OG before save for one game in the arcade when I was a little kid.

I have fired it up tonight and to say i am out of pratice is a MASSIVE understatement. I cant get past 300000 at the minute, forgot were all bunuses and dolls are ! Arrrrrgghhhhh

Wont post my score till i get something decent.
