Can anyone recommend some tools to extract molex female and male pins, so 0.093", and Mate N Lock plugs and sockets 0.25", and 0.163". I think that would cover most video game sockets?

I did look on eBay but the removal tools I looked at seemed to get fairly bad reviews, for being cheap and nasty, and most look identical

A precision screwdriver

I bought a tool off eBay once and it lasted for about 2 pins. My precision screwdriver has yet to break!

+1 for the screwdriver.

just look for the little bit sticking out on the pin and jam a small screwdriver in there and the pin should just pop out

I too am looking for the same tool. I have used a screwdriver but would prefer a tool for the job.
Maybe worth buying none from eBay for under £10 and give it a try!!

I bought one many years ago designed for PC power cable sleeving work, it looks a bit like a syringe. Works brilliantly on mate n lok. Check PC modding shops.

No opinion on your special tool, but I just unpicked the connectors in an ABI using a 3mm screwdriver.

I reckon it's a lot like dealing with a beautiful lady; a reasonable tool and plenty of dexterity

I'll give the screwdriver a go for now. See how it goes, and potentially get one of those tools in the future. Thanks for the assistance!
