But... but ... why? :)

Mind you. For sale list or not it has drawn my attention to the fact that you still have access to multiple Astro Blasters

That is an awesome set of pics Dan :) Truly awesome. I want a go on your Battlezone, and I might even be tall enough to see through the scope without a chair!

That room is probable bigger that my ground floor including the Kitchen & living room... (only got a small 2 bed semi).

Looks great with just the right type of games dotted about.... seriously

green with envy.
Mind you keeping all that lot going is a job in itself I think.

Again nice collection.

Thanks guys. Carl as you say it's a bit of a job keeping them all running. Currently everything is working but I expect that to change every time I turn them on.

@ Andyman, every good games room needs a oil rad for the winter :)

I had an oil filled radiator burst in my flat and it sprayed hot oil over the wall and carpet so there's no way I'd have one in the same building let alone the same room as any cabs.

But on a lighter note

great collection and a great setup. At the moment I can only dream of having working games I can play

Urgh. I've never seen one do that. Does anyone know if the small tube/greenhouse heaters like this one http://cpc.farnell.com/eterna/th2ft120/tubular-heater/dp/HG00259 are oil filled? I always assumed they werent and I tend to rely on them in the garage.

As regards the collection of Mr Purser, you're a bit of a dark horse but I thought you had loadsa stuff? :)

Arghhhhh, that sounds terrible. I do check the thing over whenever I use it for rust spots, I've had a real radiator pop and spray water all over the house so I know the mess they can make. The gameroom definatley needs something over the winter. It is quite well unsulated so it generally stays above freezing but it really needs a gentle heating to make it usable. Incidentally the oil rad lives elsewhere during the summer :)

Anyhoo, I'm looking forward to seeing the postings about Adrian Purser and karlcdoes collections :)

I might get some use out of my new camera if I upload some photos, rather than just providing amusement for Bazfish, et al as I struggled to navigate through the menus at RKD... I took some of the garage though most of the stuff in there is generally buried under junk :)

I had a meet of sorts on Sunday (it was my kids christening) with about 35 "normal" people (not collectors) and their kids. Who want's to have a guess at the two most popular games from my game list (1 for the kids, 1 for the adults), also any takers on the least popular game? No prizes other than being known as a smart arse

Congrats on the christening both

I'd go

Adults - Star Wars
Kids - EDOT
Least played - Defender cos its to hard for the "normal" person

@Karl - yes the tube heaters are oil filled, you can get a convector version though

I use two convector rads in the winter, they warm the room upto t-shirt level in 5 mins and cost about 12p an hour for both

I'd definitely go for Star Wars as the adult winner, but I've got no idea what games on your list would appeal to kids. Assuming they're still in single digits then I reckon whichever game has the coolest looking controller, so probably copying Andy again and say EDOT due to the plastics and the UV light.

tim

ps I really want to know what they are now :)
