So, to round it up... Awesome. I'd have like to have a good rummage about the store room but never really got the chance to ask about it, I think most of that stuff was getting put in storage anyway and I didn't want to push my luck as he had been great to me already.
Shame about the fruties that were left, hopefully he takes some more before the place comes down.

Fingers crossed he re opens something there in the future, he said he plans to but who knows? be great to see a newer style place but nothing can take the place of Funland.

I hope I gave it a decent send off

A nice haul good man, good god the size of the duke! had never imagined he was that big, proper quality though, nice you got some photo's of the tiles too. Great shame that will go!

Unfortunately not mate... his son said he thought the stuff in the big pile of cabs(which the coke sign was very near too) was going to get broken up so I plonked it in the van...only to get a call about an hour after I left wondering where it was.

I tried to explain it was a genuine mis-understanding but I think it pissed him off a bit

. Still I drove straight down to him to hand it back... sorry dude

Doh! ah well, thanks for looking out for me anyhow. Looked a cool sign, but then again can a man display both a coke and a pepsi sign in the same room!

I shall have to be content with the Pepsi and Tizer ones I have already.
