I have a monitor that the manual states will work with power in the range 90-264vac. I'm powering it off a 115vac iso (although the monitor can take direct voltage).
The degaussing coil isn't working so I thought the PTC must need replacing, but when I temporarily connected the monitor to mains 230vac, the degaussing works.
The manual doesn't say the degaussing circuit needs a certain voltage to work, so does this mean that replacing the PTC should fix it? Or, maybe the iso can't provide enough current?
I know I could just hook up the monitor to mains in the cab, but I would like to keep all the original wiring the way it is, if possible.
