I don't know if this should have its own thread but it is obviously different to the US version, plus I am terrible at DK and this way I get to be number 1 for a bit (also I think the level order makes more sense in this version)

Possibly (as with the Radar Scope one!), but that's fine , anyway i'll give it another try when I've sorted out a decent control method, currently I'm using two 2-way sticks for up down, left right which isn't so simple

Ok, so as I mentioned above I should have been playing Japan Set 1 (rather than 3) so I had another go on that one and got 55,000

In a word yes as 99% of guys play US set 1. If Hank has the WR for the Jap version that's simply because he just run the boards to get to the kill screen just so he could say he did it. Have you tried the ladder cheat yet? Stay at the top of a ladder and the barrels wont come down. I think the US set 2 has the ladder cheat also but not 100% sure?
