*edit - Tony, always expect a barrel to drop down a ladder if you're running towards it especially from level 5 onwards. Another life saver is the backwards jump which is basically jumping a barrel in the same direction as it's travelling. If you wait for the barrel to almost make contact and jump with it, it will roll under you. This is pretty handy when there are two or three awkwardly spaced barrels and also handy when getting to the top of a ladder and a barrel is virtually on top of you*

Did that a while back, and have got nowhere near it since. That said, it's rare that I don't achieve a 200k score pretty much every credit I play.

Giving my fingers a bit of a rest from hammering buttons on pac-land, had quite a lucky game on donkey kong. All but one of the cement factory levels was a free pass! And the only one that wasn't I died on, ha. Anyway, played on MAME, 482,700. My second best score on this game is 311k so probably not representative of my actual skill level at all...
