I had a howler!
Everything was ok
Went to put it back in my cab
Knocked a wire off the power switch spade end inside my cab and heard a spark ..
Then after reconnecting everything back together
My fan no longer spins on the cpu .. and I got no Sound !
š§š¤£. I just canāt belive it ..
It odd man because I can run the ctcu \ctcm \s to set the pnp And run sb16\install and install drivers
Also run diagnostic and all recognize card .
I just donāt get sound ,
Iām Just cursed with this 486
I just bought another identical card incase the power thing did something and this card got damaged,
Because I have started fresh install a few times and set everything up as I did before but I just got no sound !
Identical sound card is on way
I will try that to rule out the sound card being damaged ,
I also have another sound blaster vibra 16 that I will try to source drivers for and try to install this and hope as it is a sb16 that itās just a generic sb16 that arcadeos is set up to recognise all sound blaster 16?
