Hot off the heels of the UKVAC iOS App and Revival 2013 we are pleased to announce the general availability of the UKVAC Android App for all UKVAC members.
General availability of the App will be coming in the next 4 weeks and will be available to download for FREE from the Google Play store for all Android phones and tablets.
Here are a couple of sneak peeks of our BETA 0.1 release which is missing a few features that launch App will have.
Here's a quick sneek peek video showing how your PM go straight to your Android Notification screen area. Yes you don't even have to have the App open or be logged into the site to know when you get a PM. This will also be extended to all new posts you are monitoring also.
This video is showing an HTC One X, but it will work for all Android phones and tablets running HoneyComb or later. If you are not up on your Android versions that is the latest 3 major releases, HoneyComb, IceCreamSandwich and JellyBean.
Finally a massive thank you to all our BETA testers, which is currently on going! (and we got a bug submitted last night we need to fix!) But we thought we had better get the sneak peek out there as so many people were noticing users using the Android App on their phones at Revival and asking what's going on and when can they have it
