Reading eBay AI
It’s ok for bullshit now as we didn’t say it
The computer did ?

No actual description of the item.
All hot air blown straight up our back passage to massage the wallet and totally agreeable by eBay as it’s ka ching for them.

But is it misleading ?

It’s utterly pathetic, the AI description that lazy fookers are so foolish to use. Totally makes me instantly move on to another listing. As you say 100 % fluff and bollo*ks that tells you zero actual info about the item for sale.

Idiotic backwards non-progress as we rapidly spiral to a homogenised world of banality, brain dead, lowest common denominator nothingness.

I’d say it’s definitely confusing, if not misleading “…authentic arcade experience with a sleek, retro design.” How can it be authentic if it’s designed with retro in mind? Shades of The Man in the High Castle!

i LOVE the ebay AI descriptions, i dont sell a lot but when i am trying to make something even slightly attractive for people to buy and i just put "tested and works great"....then the AI kicks in and gives me a proper description, no issues with that, i just add my rubbish to the end of it.

😂🤣. That’s what I do.
Except I read the bullshlt incase it’s upselling my item toooooo much then I won’t use it at all as no point getting a return item waste of time for miss selling.

In some cases like with this cab it’s just not worth using . IMO
As it doesn’t answer any questions buyers would as standerd want to know .

The missus is an interprétate and translator , most of her work is for AI

She is literally selling he self and her campanarios down the river with her with every byte of work that is consumed by the great non intellectual brain in the sky.

Her work is so a large computer company may not use people like her ever again and will prevent her from getting this work from them ever again, Also it’s intellectual properties will be converted into 1 & 0
And sold on again to others that require it in that form.

AI is just the new "cloud", its kinda useful, but is just being abused and branded about for some people to make a LOT of money

it's great when you ask to put a cowboy hat on a dachshund but ask it do something meaningful and it will give you an answer, but it possibly wont be correct

eBay AI descriptions can be hilarious, going off at an absolute tangent about nothing to do with the item and then the seller counter arguing and questioning the AI response. Another ebay fave is people trying to avoid having their reflection in the photography .

the cloud bubble hasnt burst just yet, but it has been a decade in the making, i have no doubt the AI bubble has at least 10 years in it, possibly more

we have someone in my work who is doing AI work, i had a little look at what they were doing, and its just normal recording of stuff, its just got a big fancy sticker on top of it pretending to be something it's not, house of cards

Surely this AI shit (That i didnt know existed in ebay !) will cause people to be returning things due to incorrect listings ??

I did spot this as I am looking for a Jamma cab but does not give you any info on the cabinet , Does it have a working screen ?? Could not tell from the image if it even has one. Why people insist on creating listing with crap descriptions is beyond me , No effort at all just lazy.

Dave.

Did AI come up with the ridiculous BIN Price too or was that his own braindead idea

I used AI for my work performance review nonsense, I didn't even understand what they were asking me and I can't be arsed to think for work so just used bits from AI generated replies

No need for it on ebay though, great for making people use there brains even less though, soon they'll be pretty much AI themselves when AI does all the thinking for them

It only helps to both progress our regression.
But also to speed up or progression hopefully.

Good when solving vast quantum Mechanics, pushing science forward for the sustainably of planet earth and all occupants. And to further reach places for our essential habitation.

Bad when being used change the social / economic demography negatively. If peoples ways of life will be negatively effected it needs to be ring fenced.

I have been told that the civil servants have a low enthusiasm for their job.
AI Maybe will pep them up or ship them out.

machine replaced the farm labour centuries ago now.
So progress dictates that it will be the later.
How many more sectors of employment will follow and how fast we will see.

If new technology creates new jobs
It’s ok but are all the farmers children from 100 years ago making tractors ?

Probably suggested by ebay based on the extortionate 30000 game flat pack style arcade cabs for sale on there. lol
