I've been collecting Electrocoin marquees for many years now and I'm currently getting together pics of my collection and will put them up here soon for everyone to see.
While I'm finishing sorting them out I thought I'd show you guy's my Street Fighter collection as I had those separate from the rest.
It took a long time and a lot of perseverance to hunt most of these down. Considering how many SF cabs there were in the 90's it really is surprising that most of these are so rare.
This is from the dedicated Street Fighter Centi made by Electrocoin. All of the SF art on the Centi was adapted from the full size cab (the one with pneumatic buttons).
My World Warrior marquee (the blue one) has a fair bit of tube burn but looks ok in my cab.
The SF Turbo marquee is the only one I have ever seen, I don't remember seeing one bitd either.
Street Fighter 2 '92
This is a similar design to the pink SF2 Champion Edition pictured above. The main differences are the Street Fighter words being yellow and red and also the addition of '92'.
Before Champion Edition was released the game was being refered to as 'SF92'. Electrocoin quickly had them designed and printed so they were ready to go the moment the game came out but unfortunately the name was wrong. Very cool marquee.
SSF Turbo in the 3 different colour variants.
SSF2 Turbo 'The ultimate championship'
These differ from the above SSF2 Turbo marquees in a few different ways but most notably these 2 incorporate the subheader 'THE ULTIMATE CHAMPIONSHIP'
The Beta version of this game contained this subheader but was then dropped from the final game.
And the rest.
I think I have most if not all of the SF marquees that Electrocoin made but if anyone has one that I don't have or a better condition SF2 world warrior than mine (the blue one) and fancies a trade or cash just send me a pm. Cheers._Matt_2019-08-29 21:03:01
