Electrocoin...

Hi,

Just wondered if any one had any info on this..

Just picked up an electrocoin jamma cab, it's a 28inch goliath.

Can anyone tell me what monitor it should have (I can't see any markings on
it)?

Also, all colours are present, but the green is a bit strong, would
recapping it resolve this? If not, what would?

You should be able to adjust the amount of green via a pot either on the
main board or the neck board.

Every Electrocoin cab I have seen, and that's a lot, was fitted with
Hantarex monitors. The exact type will depend on the age of the game,
but for a 28 inch one I would say it's a MTC9110.

Hi Steve,

I've had a good look at the monitor and I don't believe it's a Hantarex.

It was manufactured in 1985 (cab manufacture date was 1986).

It looks original. The model number is G19AEO. The picture tube is
definitely 28 inch.

Manufactured by Victor Co of Japan. There is also a chassis number
38-004501-V1.

LOPT has JVC stamped into the plastic.

I've done a quick search online with no results.

Have you come across this monitor before? I'd like a pdf of the manual
ideally.

I had several a 26" 'Video Maker' jamma cabs with these JVC monitors
in them, never did find any schematics for them though..

have seen them in electrocoins when someones just thrown one in there
to get it working, and nailed the chassis up to a plank of wood to fit

Hi Steve,

I think the monitor is past it's best to be honest. It works OK and the cab
is playable, but ideally I'd like something better.

Do you know where I can get a new Hantarex or Wells Gardener, do you sell
them?
