I'm not sure of how, but is there any way to encourage feedback on buying and selling, i have bought a sold a fair bit on these forums yet only have one feedback, which could potentially put people off maybe?

I'm not sure how to address it though, i wouldn't want to PM everyone asking them to leave feedback, maybe alter the rules posts to include it, send a mass PM asking buyers and sellers to leave feedback.

Any thoughts?

Maybe just pm the seller ,I got your item and left you feedback
Or if your the seller ,I’ve sent your item .let me know when it arrives and I’ll leave you feedback .
Something along those lines might help .

When you leave feedback for someone, they now get a notification so that might give them a gentle nudge to hopefully leave you feedback in return.

I must admit, I am often guilty myself of forgetting to leave feedback. It’s certainly nothing personal and I’m happy to leave the feedback if the buyer/seller drops me a message to ask.

I don’t think having a low feedback count will put people off, but having a 1/5 in there might, but that never really happens - it’s either 5/5 or folk leave nothing, or just forget. Which reminds me, I should check I’ve left everyone stuff (sorry if I’ve forgotten).

Edit.. ah, it’s not out of 5 anymore, shows you how much attention I pay 😬

It's much easier to leave and check feedback on this new forum, and as already said, you now get alerts.
Leave feedback to those who have bought from you or sold to you, and hopefully they will reciprocate

Can we split the for sale area into cabs and PCBs/parts please?

I often click on for sale threads.expecting to see cabs for sale when it's only PCBs and the seller can't be arsed to put PCB in the title.

At least if there were two sections, hopefully these lazy sellers would put their ad in the right section.

I left a feedback of "neutral" for the user "blinky". I meant to put "positive".

I couldn't figure out how to edit it, so maybe one of the mods could do it? Thanks
