Hi all,
My latest MAME project arrived today. I can't wait to get rid of those nasty unreliable wires and boards and put a 486 and LCD screen in her
...of course I am genuinely joking. I am however very excited about the potential to restore the cab. It's in very nice condition. Far nicer than I thought and clean / dry / solid too. It has a 3-PCB set and all the original loom, power and wiring inside but no LD player (I knew this when I bought her.) I have a NoS 19" 15k monitor here to fit (hoping Firefox wasn't medium resolution or anthing nasty?) and I'm on Dave's list for the LD solid state replacement. I have no intention to butcher or do anything to the cab apart from restore it. The bezel surround is sagging - I'm not sure yet (but hopeful) that can be saved. I'm pleased to say it has the yoke and CP dial arts intact!
Phil.
