Flickering Red on Hatarex Polo

Hello to everyone,

I currently have an issue wit a Hantarex Polo 20 in where the colour red will randomly change to a different shade IE a brownish colour. FYI this monitor has been re-capped and new flyback fitted. It seems that it could be a loose connector or similar but I'm not sure where to start looking. Any suggestions would be very helpful. TIA

Maybe red cutoff/gain pots on neck board or red drive transistor. Try swapping the transistor with the blue or green one and see what happens.

Not wanting to bring back an old thread here, but I had the same issue and fixed it for anyone else having a similar problem.

It was a bad transistor on the neck board (T2 from memory?).
