Hehe this will give you a laugh. Just had another response from the seller:

An
identical working one is up now for £1997 so it was fair to assume a
price over £1000 working which I mentioned in my listing is correct.
Another is up at £1495 all on 1st Google search page. I have had the
machine over 10 years and seem many go up for to £1500, never seen any
actual good Taito ones go as cheap as £650? Midway maybe less. Even
recently some broken for parts ones have gone at £400 and in pretty poor
condition. I thought the grand on TV was there or there abouts tbh.

I love that one from Home Leisure Direct. Replacement coin door, not a reproduction but a replacement that doesn't even look right. For 2 grand I would it expect everything to be original and mint.

In the video they even mention the rust on the coin door! They couldn't even be bothered to have the coin door restored.

And is it just me or is the march sound effect missing in the video?

I sent this person a list of about 12 eBay auctions that had SI's less that £650.

I don't think he'll take on board what I've said as I think he's convinced himself that he is sitting on a goldmine, with £1000+ being a reasonable price

I've wished him good luck with his sale. Lets see how he gets on
