Before i start hacking my PAT9000 to make it more useful for me as a
test rig, i want to offer it up complete, as original to someone who
might want it for that purpose.
Its the main unit serial number 00067, it has some switch and button
covers/escutchens missing, but nothing that stops it working. Some
spare switches are included, it has new power relays, and it does also
work, it comes with an asteroids and Return of the jedi program plug,
and two empty plug shells, but no 22/44pin main harness. It does not
have the raster or vector monitor housings or monitors, but i'll throw
in a working 14" Philips RGB CM8833II monitor that you can hook it up
to.
I'm taking offers on it, whatever you fancy poking in there. Please
note its very heavy, wont be possible to post this thing, it weighs as
much as a full size arcade machine, but is much smaller
I can
deliver within 150 mile radius or sos at fuel cost, or you pick it up,
or arrange your own courier to collect.

Give it about 2 weeks or so and if the offers don't come in, i'll be
hacking this sucker into a new disguise, as the Rat9000 super rig.
I am offering this item for sale as a collectible, as one of Atari's
produced machines, but intrinsically its worth a fair amount in its
own right with the switches, connectors, wiring, psu's and interfaces
it has on it. In order to rebuild a similar item from scratch will
cost a fortune, i'd like not to have to hack this up, but its
usefulness is sort of outweighing its collectible value. I've been
throwing this idea around in my head for months now, and i figure its
worth one last offering to collectors before it transmographies into
my own super customised test rig. (which incidentally will retain all
the features of the pat9000, but will have a whole new facelift, and
3x the useability and functions.
