Has anyone been to the Game On exhibition at the Science Museum recently? I heard it was pretty crowded when it opened, but perhaps the crowds have calmed down a bit by now.

I was thinking of going on a Saturday so want to make sure it won't be mobbed. Any feedback on the crowd levels and quality of the show would be much appreciated.

I was there last wed, 24th. About 2pm. No huge crowds. However, they do try to limit the time you spend in the exhibit - 1.5 hours is what they say. As it wasn't busy no one really enforced this, but worth remembering.

Saturday will probably still be busy though - think it closes in Feb so it will be the last weekend.

Game On - went this Saturday at 1.30pm and it was quite busy, lots of kids, but by 3pm when we left there was a big queue for the upstairs entrance, so probably best to go earlier rather than later.

As for the exhibition, really top notch stuff and enjoyed it. Hats off to the guys on here who were associated with setting it all up. Most of the arcade stuff was working, with the exception of the Donkey Kong machine. Great to have a game on a real Bezerk machine again. Also loved the handheld game section.

If anyone is planning on going, I would get your skates on as it closes on the 25th.
