This is going to be a topic for a future Ten Pence Arcade Podcast...

What games from classic computers and consoles (or even more modern games) should have been or should be in an arcade cab?

I, personally would love to see a version of Geometry Wars done on a colour vector monitor. How utterly cool and mind blowing would that be? The colour vector monitor would probably burst into flames after about 5 minutes, but I can dream

We would love to hear your ideas on this subject - they will be talked about on the podcast.

Alex obviously wants Chuckie Egg to be in the arcade, which is a no brainer really! - it'd be awesome!

I would have liked to have seen Atari do a vector version of The Return Of The Jedi rather than the raster version they released.....

There is a youtube clip of someone who has a WIP vector ROTJ they have programmed themselves and it looks pretty cool imo, way better than Atari's effort

Lol I was just about to say Wipeout then luckily noticed it had been mentioned, loads of potential and a very stylish game back in it's day.

The problem with Chuckie Egg is you'd need to put a time limit on it. People seem to be able to play that game round and round and round!!

Ooh good one.

How about Speedball, the Amiga Classic? I reckon that would have been a very cool 2 player cab.

Or some of the early ultimate play the game games, like jetpac, pssst and cookie was always a big fave of mine :)

Thing on a spring and wizball from the good old Amiga.

God I loved the music to Thing on a spring, going to go on YouTube now and have a listen.

O and what about cauldron?

Great games.

Parasol Stars was already on my my list.
Obviously, some games would have to be toughened up to be viable arcade games.

Others in mind are Super Ghouls n ghosts, Grid runner, Fix it Felix, Trail blazer, Bruce Lee, Axelay, Devil World, R type 3
