Duck shot was also cool and when my dad saw it in the shop being played it convince him I needed a BBC for school work and he could also play games on it.

First 'game' I ever played I think was Podd on the BBC. I also remember Granny's Garden being a school favourite at primary school. Also played Exile if I got to school early enough - the headmasters son put it on the network.

One of my old friends had a BBC but the only game I can remember playing is some of the Reptons.

Later on I remember playing Chuckie Egg at secondary school.

In more recent years I have tried some games via emulation, Elite of course is fantastic, I only played that on the C64 and Amstrad as a kid.

Commando-My favourite game at the time but the conversion was terrible got laughed out the room by my C64 playing mates.

Blagger-Jet Set willy style.

Beach head and Raid over Moscow-Must be the only US Gold games worth
playing.

Wizadore-Remember being amazed at the graphics at the time.

All of the Ultimate games-atic atak,Alien 8,Knightlore,Sabre wulf.

Aviator-Had me hooked for hours trying to fly under the bridge.

The Hobbit-adventure game where you had to reload the game every time you died!

Match Day-Stunning football game, played this for hours.

Rocket Raid-Perfect Scramble conversion.

And the ultimate - JCB Digger-Screen flicker to set off a seizure but couldn't stop playing it.

Can anyone help me ID a game?

It was in junior school when they occasionally rolled out the BBC to play on, text adventure'ish (may be multiple choice) game where you had to solve a case I think, when you finished you were rated by police ranks, like detective inspector etc

Never had a BBC (well, up until a few years ago), never got to play any games on them at school. It was only ever stuff that was "educational" (might've had Revs, but I don't think anyone but the teachers got to play it!

) Plenty of decent games on it though, the Beeb seems to have a pretty decent version of Sabre Wulf.
