Got a Gauntlet Legends with a dead HDD. So redone the HDD from the MAME ROMset.
Now getting Error Code (I have no idea what it said before): IOASIC - which apparently means, "Wrong Security Chip with Working Boot ROM and Hard Drive"
Now the MAME image I have done is version 1.6 and the original HDD is version 1.41 however from what I have read, the Security Chip doesn't change between versions, just between different games.
The Security chip on the board is definitely an original and for Gauntlet Legends.
Anyone know where I can get the code to check in case the security pic has died? From what I have read it is available in the MAME ROMset as U37, but I cannot find it, maybe I am missing something?
