Gauntlet Reboot

Did a search to see if there was a topic on this. Maybe I didn't look hard enough (prepares for Titanic references)

Bit of an old link but what are peoples thoughts on this?

I'm interested, but I hate steam and everything connected to it....

I don't know what to make of that. As much love as Gauntlet gets, when it boils down to it, it's not a desperately great game. I remember clearly thinking that it was a blatant money grabber and gets boring pretty quickly. I DID enjoy it back in the day, but not for long.

But this remake, not that it can really be called that does look interesting, but again, there's issues there as well. Its very Diablo 3. And boy did that get boring quickly!!

Will have to investigate more basically. A lot will depend on cost and stuff.

Oh, and while I'd be surprised if it didn't eventually come out for PS4 or XBone, I think you need to get over the whole Steam thing. It ain't going away any time soon

[EDIT] Ah, £14.99 - may check it out then. Was half expecting a £39.99 price tag or something.
