hi all got a hold of a ghost squad it not playable at all as the tubes are burnt to hell on the projector , any ideas im thinking of changing the tubes , any one tried this , also have any one got a remote to setup the screen ,

Are you not easier just trying to change it to an lcd/plasma?

i did think of that but the issue is its a 4:3 50" screen , and its a shooter so it needs to be the correct size ,

that looks expensive to fix

i think you best bet would be to get a old 50" rear projection tv and work a bit of magic

its a 31khz hi res but i have just won a toshiba tv off ebay so i im going to try and swap the tubes as these are mulled

i have a sony kdf-50e2010 it has been a constant battle with optical blocks and lamps

luckily it was insured

next time it packs up , its going to the tip
