Hoping for an easy hat trick on these 3 boards. I'm thinking (hoping) they are all easy fixes within my basic level. Not going to touch the original if it's anything more complex.
Right to left:

PURE BOOTLEG - Used to work but now out of storage and boots to garbage.

1/2 BOOTLEG - just bought this original top board with bootleg under. Seller said the original works if paired with another. Not true.....board doesn't even boot whichever combination of A and B boards i tried.

ORIGINAL - sold as working but has graphics issues. Grass in graveyard is blue water graphic for a start.

I know these are twitchy wrt voltage. Can't adjust that on my supergun so going to hook them up to an adjustable power supply and take it from there. A win would be nice as most diagnostics are too hard for me so far.

20231005_143110.jpg1 down - Bootleg sorted. Can't claim anything clever. Needed higher voltage and also when swapping all the boards around I noticed one of the ribbon connectors was dodgy.
Works fine and ref other GnG posts even this bootleg flashes during the game like all the original boards I've ever seen i.e. sample size of 3.

Original Capcom boards with masked tracks are a nightmare to work on but luckily you have bootlegs there which are a nice reference to have in addition to schematics to basically see where the physical tracks route to, but beware bootlegs can sometimes have missing tracks.

I have a bootleg which had missing sounds, after much diagnosis I finally realised I had a missing track on the board that was responsible for the missing sounds. The bootleggers had forgot to add this track during production!
