Njoi Live in Manchester 1992 was epic. Still listen to it now:

having bought the NJoi promo EP off eBay about 20 years ago when I'd finally got 2 of the other tracks on my tape after Anthem identified as being from this white label we still didn't know what the 3rd track was called, last year stumbled on someone saying it's now available to buy from there website and the track is now named We Base It

The first 3 tracks I'd recorded off Club Music station in 1990 and always wondered if they were all Njoi. The Republica album is awesome too https://www.discogs.com/release/886350-Republica-Republica

This is the Promo EP

The debut NJOI release, Music From A State Of Mind, from 1990 – now Remastered

Also includes cover artwork.

Track Listing
  1. Anthem
  2. Manic
  3. We Bass It
  4. Jah Heaven
  5. Jupiter Dawn
  6. Techno Gangsters
So I was tempted to buy the back catalogue https://www.n-joi.co.uk/n-joi-shop/

For those of us old enough to remember....This was a classic pill popping, bass bin busting tune in the late 80's, early 90's

Awesome tune, pretty cool for 1988

Didn't think it was as late as 1990 but we used to be nosing around everywhere, used to find all sorts of stuff dumped at local parks and behind the garages at bottom of the road, one day we were looking at the back of them and there were a couple of bags, loads of new packs of batteries seem to remember and some audio tapes, just blank ones recorded on but there was some good music on em, one of the tracks was The Beat Club - Security and 4 others i really liked, found out a years or so later they were all on 5 on Deep Heat 5 so they must have taped em all off the album. really like all these ones, Pandella and TOT are banging tunes
