Robert Miles - Children is a timeless classic and still holds up to this day. Some might find it sacrilege but Tinlicker did a pretty good progressive remix a couple of years ago which I think kept the essence of the original but brought it up to date a little:

I could probably talk trance tunes all day and it's hard to pick just one or two so for now I'll post the first track that really got me into trance:

There will be so much we all missed, its a shame Chris Carey wasn't still doing Club Music radio station as he knew some good music, 1989-1991 I heard so much I wouldn't have thanks to that guy and still can't ID one track on my tapes after 25 years.

I've just looked at Kriana stuff on YouTube and listening to this, talking from Human Traffic which was good

The tune from 2.05 I thought I know this from somewhere, took me a few minutes and ah it's Tenth Planet, love the original Japan - Ghosts but This version is cool too, Sounds like they took it from Kriana being from 1999 and tenth planet 2001

Thats on Trance Nation 2001 and then this is next track which I really like too

It's cool knowing where samples come from, some real genius ones used, it's great when your just listening to some old stuff and you stumble on them

Beloved were great, I have that Blissed Out CD as well as the other albums

This remix of Horse - Careful is awesome, one of my speaker bass testing tracks and talking about samples, to me at 6:30 they used the drums from RUN-DMC - Runs House, the end from 7:50 is where the bass gets really good

This was pretty good for 1989, Precinct 13 and again Samples from the film which is cool also

Used to love this version on Electro 13 though

Anyone else listened to any Starecase stuff, I got the CD Album from the tip and it's not bad, first track I really like and bass is awesome, mixture of vocal ones and instrumentals, shown it my mate and asked if he'd heard them, I said Stare Case, he said it's Star Case, no it's got an e, Star Case - First Floor don't make sense lol

Yeah. I do prefer the Happiness version of Up Up and Away though.

Heh, 'Raven Maize' took that same mash-up of Queen and Simple Minds and reworked it in 2001.

I'd much rather hear the original 1981 track though.
New Gold Dream was nicked by a few dance songs too.
