This is a bit off topic really since I didn't discover it in Mame, I used to play it. But "The Pit" is very much unknown for most people and yet is awesome. A pretty "short, sharp, shock" type of game. Level one is easy peasy and eases you into the swing of things, level two starts getting fast and by the time you hit level 3 and above you need to be pretty damn hot!

Looping just stole 45 minutes of my life 
What a great game! I can open the gate, get into the pipe section but don't seem to be able to make the turns to get out the bottom slot to the part where the big dripping pipe is. I'm doubling back on the way I come in so I try to end up flying right in the lowest loop, so I can do a little dive and then pull up to get to the section with the green drops as I don't think it's possible to fly from the top of the loopy entrance, to the bottom and then make a 90 right? Alert indeed!

Hehe, it is possible to get through the pipe section but you kinda have to know the patterns and make the turns at the right time. Sometimes you have to position yourself or start a turn before the pipe has fully come on the screen. The section after it is also very difficult! It's very frustrating but in a good way. Has a lot of "one more go!" about it, especially when you don't have to put 10p in again to play it.
