Google Chrome debit card fraud?

Just had to cancel my card after noticing an online payment of £77 I know I didn't make. I could only think this happened due to some hack or whatever of Chrome/Google which which had my card details stored, so that I just had to enter my card security code when making payment online, and Chrome would then autofill my card details on the payment page. Lady I spoke to from my bank's fraud department confirmed they've had a rise in problems with Chrome users.

Just a heads up. I won't be storing my new card details with Chrome/Google!

Well I have a card a credit card that never gets used is for emergency only, not on line entered anywhere and gathers dust in my wallet.

I picked the wrong card at a dentist and over the next month £2500 was taken by just eats despite me never registering with just eats, then online paypments to a bank account. Just eats and the new upstart bank did not care less. I bank with Halifax and there was no issue on a full refund. I assume there is a con being done by just eats staff, on refunds or something as nobody could eat that much in a day !!

looks like the dentist was the problem in this one

only had a scam thing once, when i was on holiday in Europe, barclaycard were on it in a flash and phoned me asking if i had made the purchases instantly

We had that at a local takeaway. Paid over the phone with a card and then the next day they bought a ton of stuff from Argos click and collect. Never gonna give card details over the phone now
