Greatest Arcade Bargains You Ever Snagged!...

Anytime you got something so ridiculously cheap that you couldn't believe it! Mine has to be when i got a fully working Videomaster cab which came with Robocop, Football Champ, TMNT for £105! on ebay about 8 years ago. The Videomaster cab also has the benefit of choosing between 2 boards because it has a 2 game toggle switcher button on the control panel. I felt guilty when i went and picked it all up for so cheap! Couple of really cool bodybuilder chaps selling it. But that's the risk of auctions on ebay and things slipping through the net.

Over the years it's swings and roundabouts with deals so they tend to even out.
Whoever got a JJ Squawkers for £50 or less BiTD had a good deal. Not me BTW but I bet somebody, somewhere did.

i picked up those 3 arcade cabs earlier this year for £300 which i consider a ridiculous bargain, one has a fault but the other 2 work perfectly fine, i consider that a big win especially in this day and age
I got the standard Videomaster. I've heard there are a few different variants.

I once responded to an advert for 3 cabaret poker cabs for £120. When I got there to look at them the seller proceeded to tell me all about them, and every so often in the (one sided) conversation he dropped the price. I eventually got them for nothing!

Wow! That's amazing. Proper lucky and you had a good guy who just wanted them to go to a good home.

That is a lot of amazingly cheap deals. So many great machines.Very lucky. Plus you can never moan about finding 120 quid in the hopper 😂

Probably The Punisher and Warriors of Fate for £30 each, needing the sound battery sorting.
This was in the late 1990's though, so times were different :D.
I still paid £180 for a Bonanza Bros PCB back then (and subsequently felt so dirty I'd spent that much on a game, I gave up collecting for 15 years)

Well they all definitely worth quite a bit more now 😀 Nice work.

Star Wars pinball £300 in 2005
Off road racing £80 when Arcade Barn shutdown
3 x cocktails that I haven't even looked at yet, for £90 in 2025
Excellent. Amazing deals. Is the Off Road the older version with 3 wheels! I was playing a Star Wars pinball in Funland Hayling Island the last time i was there, not sure of which version it was, but it rocked. 👍🌟

4 Sega Vs City Cabs (2 versus city and 2 new versus city) for free if you could have them out within 2 days. I jumpped at it. In the end it turned out to be only really 2 cabs (1 of each) because the other 2 didn't have monitors or chassis. The Versus City is about 1/2 way through a complete restoration while the New Versus is waiting for that one to finish. I still have parts spare for both (PSUs mostly gone). I think thats my best deal ever though.

Crazy. That person must have not known what they had or had more money than sense. Not cheap machines. Extremely lucky
