Hey! Been into arcade stuff for the longest time, mainly geared around CPS1/3 and Neo-Geo hardware
The current obsession is the CPS1, for the last year or so I've been chipping away at a personal SDK for it (working title, CPSDE, Capcom Play System Dev Environment). It makes uses of the ASMX assembler in conjunction with custom Python scripts to assemble/de-interleave ROMs as needed, hoping to release a build sometime this month. If ya curious, made a thread detailing progress in this Arcade Projects CPS1 SDK thread
Hoping to meet other like minded folks equally as stubborn to make things for these systems as I am! If ya also do homebrew feel more than free to reach out, always endlessly fascinated in that kind of thing

Nothing really playable yet
Sounds like excellent stuff.

Got any demos?
Sadly nothing "playable" yet, but OBJ and SCR1/3 tiles are in, 68k/Z80 code is assembled and a friend and I are chipping away at sound stuff. The idea is to use something like Furnace to make music for the CPS1, and the SDK will come with scripts that can extract all the FM Instruments/Oki samples. Actually got that part down, we just need to fix stuff like volume_sliding, but music is very very close!
This is a test involving custom OKI samples and showing off the OBJ/SCR1-3 layers, and that demo running on the Darksoft Multi (the SDK will come with scripts to automate that part based on ya game config!) This was from a while back when I had a bunked C Board hooked up, can confirm this works on the real thing
