Got two polo 28". I am in the middle of recapping one of them. Noticed discrepancy from the schematic when I changed the poly-caps.

The revision on the chassi I'm working on is 3374. The revision on the chassi I'm comparing with (where cap values are according to schematics) is: 4240).

Found discrepancies from schematics on the 3374-revision:
* There is no adjustable coil at L107.
* C171 is fitted (but on my other polo it isn't). Can't find it in the schematics.
* C170 is 1uf (0.33 uf on schematics).
* C175 is 0.022uf (0.012 on schematics).

I've tried to Google.

Would like to know if I can change to the schematic's cap values (since I already got these at home).

Would also be very greatful for a schematics of the 3374-revision.

Rev 4240 which seems to be according to schematics:

its not the same chassis, the first one is from something like a public broadcast monitor
you just swap like for like if the component is faulty
i doubt you will find a schematic for it

The 25"-28" Polo comes in two versions, one called FULL (i.e. for Full Square tubes of the Videocolor EAS family) and one called M.P. (i.e. for Medium Planar tubes of the Videocolor ECY family). I don't think the manual of the latter is available online but I have it and if someone knows of a place where I can upload the PDF (without it being deleted a few days later), I'll post it there. In the meantime here's the schematics:

The MP is easily recognized by the two separate east-west and bridge coils while on the other version they're both wound around the same bobbin with adjustable core.

Thank you so much for this! This was more than I could hope for. Guess I have to order some film-caps :)

This Hantarex MP is sitting in a European Capcom q-sound cabinet (euro big blue), it was working like it should but I want to change caps to make sure it continues to do so in the future.

MKL: this is not the first time you helped me. You should write a book on the Hantarex polo. I would love to read it.
