heat transfer paste

anyone recommend a particular type of paste to use for the chassis mounted transistors on vector monitors ?

thankyou ! that stuff non-electrically-conductive ? only ask cos ive seen some on ebay that are and i know the vector chassis transistors have to be isolated from the chassis.

Isolate them if the transistors require it. Thats stuff isn't (I use it) and I'm not sure I'd trust anything long term that says it isolates anyway. What happens when it eventually dries out and bakes? Can't imagine it would do much isolating then.

hehe- didnt mean it quite like that lol..

i will of course use insulators too, i just wondered obviously if the paste reaches around the insulator..

I will order some directly and get my Asteroids put back together
