hi i have some back printed glass the artwork has lifted in some places , what "glue " should i use to stick it back down

I don't know about glueing it back down - I am not so sure you succesfully can.

However you can protect backglass I was always told by putting on Krylon Triple Thick onto a non bubbling back glass.

double sided 'clear' tape? or that might be a bit cowboy-ish?

Basically clear lacquer is what you want, dab it in. 2K stuff really just do it in a well ventilated area.

Krylon paint is banned over in Europe due to VOC's, IRRC.
